Seacliff Beach near North Berwick is such a brilliant location for a family shoot. I’d only had chance to explore it once before and that was just a few weeks ago! Which is shocking given that we’ve lived in Dunbar for nearly two years and it really isn’t that far away. It’s beautiful. What a stunning beach. With it’s amazing view of Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle peeking round the corner. Numerous rocks to scramble over, horses to admire as they thunder along the sands, surfers occasionally out in the waves. Seacliff Beach is definitely up there in my top 5 favourite beaches (and I really love a beach!).

So when the Love family were happy to pop down from Edinburgh to explore Seacliff I was so happy! I’ve known Hannah for a few years as she is a wedding and family photographer as well. We have worked together lots in the past so I was really chuffed (and a bit scared!) when she asked me to get some photos of the Love team together. Having two little ones myself I know only too well how rare it is that getting a photo of us all happens.

We had a great time running up and down Seacliff and jumping in the waves. Thank you, Hannah, for asking me along to shoot this family session for you. I had so much fun!

Here’s a few of my favourites…

How amazing to have Seacliff Beach so local to North Berwick and Dunbar as well. I’m still feeling so lucky to have the East Lothian coastline as my local stomping ground x
