The Rocks Dunbar, East Lothian.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Katie and Ross had the most perfect day on Friday. Staying local in Dunbar, they tied the knot at the Town House on the high street. Then we all piled on the big blue bus (thanks to Katie’s uncle!) to the harbour. We *just* made it over the bridge and headed up to The Battery for some photos with that amazing East Lothian sky. Bass Rock in the background and the threat of rain made for the most amazing skies.

On to the newly refurbished Rocks for their reception and confetti fun. We popped along to the coastal path for a few shots of the two of them, Dunbar and the East Lothian coastline in the background – magic.

Their evening reception was back at their house where they had their first dance in the back garden with blue sky, BBQ on the go, kids running round, family and friends around them. Honestly, such a special day.

Since moving to Dunbar nearly two years ago it’s been wonderful to explore East Lothian and get to know it better as a local. I love travelling for weddings most weekends but it was lovely to visit some of my everyday spots for Katie Ross’s wedding.
